Anti-Bribery Compliance

RSI Content Solutions is in compliance with the Indian Parliament’s Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) as adopted from the United National General Assembly, which addresses the punishment for the offense of money-laundering, the attachment and confiscation of property tainted by money-laundering, and the obligations of banking companies, financial institutions, and intermediaries in connection with money-laundering issues. Further, RSI is in compliance to the extent applicable by law with the detailed guidelines regarding Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) published by Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the regulator of banks in India.

RSI Content Solutions prohibits you from engaging in any activity that facilitates money laundering or the funding of terrorist or criminal activities (collectively, “Prohibited Transactions”) in connection with our business. Money laundering is the act of concealing of disguising the existence, illegal origins, and/or illegal application of criminally derived income so that such income appears to have legitimate origins or constitute legitimate assets. While money laundering involves giving “dirty” money the appearance of legitimacy, terrorist financing generally involves using legally earned income to finance illegal activities. RSI expects you to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding Prohibited Transactions.

Anti-Money Laundering Compliance

RSI India complies by the Anti – Money Laundering Policy in India.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the regulator of banks in India has issued detail guidelines to Banks on Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering(AML) in November 2004.

The Indian Parliament passed the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA)in 2002 to implement the Political Declaration adopted by the special session ofthe United Nations General Assembly held during June 8-10, 1998 and the Global Programme of Action annexed to Resolution S-17/2 adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on February 23, 1990. The provisions of this Act are effective from July 1, 2005. The PMLA addresses a range of issue sincluding the definition of and punishment for the offence of ML, attachment and confiscation of property tainted by ML and the obligations of banking companies, financial institutions and intermediaries in connection with ML issues.
